Executive Presence
Language of the Body
Lily Baldwin
Understanding the language of “the” body.
Experiential inquiry into presence + embodiment as a means to manifest.
About the Instructor: Lily Baldwin
This class explores methods for understanding the language of the body through experiential inquiry into presence and embodiment. Our bodies are constantly communicating a nonverbal language: what are they saying? To whom? Our beingness (how we inhabit this moment) shapes our capacity to connect, manifest, and build ecosystems (circles of alignment: teams). Dormancy, depression, and disconnection isolate us and stifle the flow (seamless momentum) that lubricates everything we do. We do not live in a silo; every choice we make and experience we have impacts the matrix around us. Building a bridge between embodiment and self-knowing (self-study, self-care) is a form of intimacy, advocacy, and leadership that shapes our encounters.
